Lizzetta McConnell has been married to Mr. Tony McConnell, a devoted employee of Feeding the Gulf Coast, since 1999. She is the proud mother of three handsome young men, Tony McCaskey, 27; Lawrence Hill, 26; and Lawaun Hill Jr., 25. Outside of her many accomplisments, the one she takes the most pride in is being a succesful mother and homemaker. 

Mrs. McConnell was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Fulton, Alabama. She later relocated to Mobile, Al., where she currently resides. In Mobile is where Mrs. McConnell decided to express her talents. Currently she is a member of WIN (Women in NAACP). In her previous role she served as the President of the Mobile County NAACP. Prior to that she served as the Assistant Secretary of the Alabama NAACP.

Why I am Running

I am running to ensure everyone has a seat at the table and that every community in the first congressional district of Alabama has equal representation in the decision making in Washington, D. C. regardless to race, age, gender, or income status.
